Ulster University

Located in Northern Ireland, Ulster institution—officially known as the University of Ulster—is a public research institution with multiple campuses. Informally and unofficially, it is frequently referred to as Ulster or by the acronym UU.

Ulster University was established in 1845 and now has multiple campuses. Our branch campuses, which are operated in collaboration with QA Higher Education, formerly known as QA Business School, are another example of how the institution has expanded beyond its roots in Northern Ireland.

The first year of a full-time undergraduate program offered on one of our campuses in Northern Ireland was open to all new international students starting in September 2025, with the exception of those from the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

Eligibility Criteria

Ulster University International Scholarships Eligibility Criteria

You must be regarded as an international student who is self-funding and paying the international tuition fee rate in order to be eligible for this prize.
You must have an offer for a full-time undergraduate program offered on one of our campuses in Northern Ireland (Belfast, Coleraine, or Derry-Londonderry) beginning in September 2025, in addition to fulfilling any academic and/or English language requirements mentioned in your offer letter.
Students applying to our online, part-time, or MBBS programs, as well as those enrolled in our branch campuses in Manchester, Birmingham, or London, are not eligible for this reward.
Please note that you are not eligible to apply for this scholarship if you are in a placement year.

International Postgraduate Scholarship

All new international students (except those from the UK and the Republic of Ireland) enrolling in the first year of a full-time postgraduate program offered on one of our Northern Ireland campuses beginning in January or September 2025 are eligible.

Value

The £2,000 scholarship is applied to your tuition cost as a reduction.

You must also meet any academic and/or English language requirements listed in your offer letter, and you must have an offer for a full-time postgraduate program that will begin in January or September 2025 on one of our campuses in Belfast, Coleraine, or Derry-Londonderry.
Students applying to online or part-time courses, as well as courses at our branch campuses in Manchester and Birmingham, England, are not eligible for this funding.
